Originally from Zimbabwe, Chris Dunbar (pictured looking at the flowers on a young Tahitian vanilla vine) has over 20 years experience in the fresh produce industry working alongside farmers and retailers ensuring only the best quality goods are produced and marketed to customers worldwide.

After managing an organic herb and spice business in Zimbabwe, Chris moved to New Zealand in 2002 where he furthered his experience in the fresh produce retail and procurement industry.

His work is now focused on the curing, processing, packaging and marketing of vanilla and other spices.
